Swords are considered as weapons of bravery. Ninjato is the common name for the sword carried by a ninja soldier. The ninja swords came in various shapes and sizes. The Katana swords used by the Samurai of Japan were quite longer in size when compared to the ninja swords. The traditional sword carried by a ninja would be called as the wakizashi. This sword is a short sword, but it's fitted with a katana length handle and will be placed in a katana length scabbard. This sword was designed in such a way so as to deceive the opponents. The speed with which the ninja sword can be drawn from its scabbard has nothing to do with its size or appearance. This will allow the ninja fighter to calculate and deceive his opponent and to disguise his weapon.
