The Nintendo Wii gaming console primarily competes with the Sony Playstation 3, and that of the Microsoft Xbox 360. These mentioned video game consoles all belong to what is called the seventh-generation video game consoles to be released to the public. It is reported that it has the largest chunk of sales as compared to the other video game consoles in its generation. However, the Nintendo Wii we know of now has come a long way from just what it is today. Let us take a long walk down memory lane where this great gaming console was once an idea, a bright idea indeed.
